1. The Stud fee for _______________________________________is $______________ which is payable by cashiers check or cash upon the bitches arrival for artificial insemination or breeding.
2. At stud dog owner’s discretion, pick of the litter puppy may be considered in lieu of payment and will be picked by the owner of the stud dog no earlier than 7 weeks of age and all puppies must be presented and available for selection.
3. All fees paid are for stud service only and are not to be construed as a guarantee of puppies.
4. If the bitch does not conceive or fails to whelp less than two living puppies, a second breeding to the same stud dog will be offered (not including any charges for artificial insemination), upon veterinary verification that the bitch is anatomically sound. If the same stud dog is no longer available, an alternate stud will be selected by the stud dog owner. No refunds will be given.
5. The bitch must be in good physical condition at the time of breeding: free of fleas, ticks and be given a bath before arrival. She must have a stable temperament... A vicious female will not be accepted for breeding or insemination. Owner of the stud dog reserves the right to deny breeding to the bitch for any reason.
6. If the bitch is to be kept at the location of the stud dog, the owner of the stud dog agrees to keep the bitch confined and inaccessible to all other males until the bitch is returned to the owner.
7. If puppies are to be whelped at the stud’s location, the stud dog owner agrees to give the same care to the bitch to be bred, that they would give to their own bitches while in their possession. In case of an emergency, the stud dog owner guarantees to make every attempt to contact the bitch's owner before any veterinarian care is rendered, but in the case of an emergency, the bitch dogs owner agrees that the vet care and any emergency decisions can be made by the stud dog owner. The owner of the bitch agrees to pay for all fees incurred by the bitch at the time of the emergency.
8. It is specifically agreed that the stud dog owner is not obligated to sign the application for registration of this litter until the stud fee has been paid in full, or in the case of a puppy fee, the stud owner has the possession of the puppy or puppies as agreed upon.
Copies of the following items are required prior to date of service:
Copy of AKC registration
Four generation pedigree
Current proof of vaccinations including rabies
Proof of negative Brucellosis test results
Proof of thyroid (T4) test within 3 months
Proof of current (w/in 30 days) negative cervical/vaginal culture
Artificial insemination costs if you choose A.I.
